Although this software is believed to be reliable, it has not yet been released for production and should be used at your own risk.

Installation Instructions

Connect your Forerunner 735XT to your computer using the USB cable.
Download and unzip Forerunner735XTBeta.zip. Place the GUPDATE.GCD file in the \GARMIN folder of your device's internal storage drive.
Disconnect your device from the computer, approve the update on the watch, and wait for the update to finish.
If you would like to revert to the last public release software, follow the above steps but place the GUPDATE-830.GCD file in the \GARMIN folder. Rename the file to GUPDATE.GCD before disconnecting your device. NOTE: If you revert to an older version of software, all of your settings will be reset to defaults.

Fixed an issue in which monthly totals couldn't display four digits.
Various fixes and improvements related to Activity Tracking.

Add an optional countdown timer after rests in pool swim. Find the countdown setting in Activity Settings > Countdown Start.
Smart notifications are now sent to Varia Vision if connected.
Fixed an issue in which Live Segments alerts could interfere with a running Connect IQ app.
Fixed an issue in which Connect IQ watch faces may not display heart rate history.
Fixed an issue in which distance, pace, and auto-pause may not work correctly in UltraTrac mode.

Added support for Connect IQ 2.3.1 SDK. See the Connect IQ 2.3.1 SDK for a list of new features.
Display swim distance with greater precision in very long open water swims.
Fixed an issue in which pool swim personal records may be displayed with incorrect units.
Fixed an issue in which the Virtual Partner Time Ahead field would always show 0:00.
Fixed an issue in which GPS could be enabled in indoor activities in some rare cases.
Changed the Hebrew keyboard to default to the Hebrew character set.
