Notes:

Connect your aera7xx to a free USB port on your computer with the correct interface cable.
Allow your aera7xx to initialize and enter mass storage mode.
Run WebUpdater, following on-screen instructions.
To complete the software update, disconnect your aera 7xx from your computer; allow it to restart.
IMPORTANT! If the aera7xx does not update automatically, manually update the software:
Press Tools button from Main Menu.
Press Database button from Tool page.
Press Menu key from Database Information page.
Select Update Software from option menu.
Select Yes to confirm software update.
Wait for unit restart.

WARNING: If this software is uploaded to a device other than that for which it is designed, you will not be able to operate that device.
If attempts to upload software fail, you may need to return the device to Garmin® for service.

System requirements

IBM-compatible PC running Windows XP or later operating system and an available USB port.
