Notes:

System Requirements:
Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1 or later is required. Machines with earlier operating systems can use BaseCamp 4.2.5.
.NET framework 4.6 is required. A current version of .NET will be installed if needed.
Windows Media Player 11 or greater is required (a free download from Microsoft).
1 GB of system memory is required, 2 GB of system memory is recommended when using BirdsEye Imagery or Garmin Custom Maps.
A video card that supports OpenGL version 1.3 or later is needed to enable the 3D view.
If you experience problems when interacting with the map views, please make sure that you have installed current video card drivers.
BaseCamp will recognize all MapSource products except BlueChart.
BaseCamp does not work with serial GPS devices.

Δυστυχως Πανο, κριμα ομως γιατι για μενα το MapSource ειναι αναντικαταστατο. Ποτε δεν ξερεις, μπορει κατι να αλλαξει.

Η εκδοση 4.1.0 του BaseCamp φερνει καινουργιες δυνατοτητες & καποιες αλλαγες πολυ ενδιαφερουσες για τους χρηστες της εφαρμογης.

Cloud Storage

Προκειται για το Cloud Storage που δινει στον λογαριασμο του καθε χρηστη 150 ΜΒ διαθεσιμου αποθηκευτικου χωρου για συγχρονισμο δεδομενων. Ο καθε χρηστης μπορει με Drag & Drop να ανεβασει στο Cloud Storage πορειες, σημεια πορειας, ιχνη, κ.λ.π & να τα εχει διαθεσιμα απο οπουδηποτε & σε οποιονδηποτε υπολογιστη τρεχει το BaseCamp αρκει να συνδεθει στον λογαριασμο του στο MyGarmin.

Αλλαγες στον τροπο Αναζητησης

Το BaseCamp για PC πραγματοποιει πλεον αναζητηση για πολλους τυπους δεδομενων ταυτοχρονα κατι το οποιο ηδη συμβαινει στο BaseCamp για Mac. Δεν υπαρχει πλεον κουτακι επιλογης Πολης, ο χρηστης μπορει να κανει αναζητηση με τον ιδιο τροπο που γινεται στις νεες σειρες nuvi στην Γενικη Αναζητηση π.χ. "Δημοτικο Θεατρο, Πειραιας, Αττικη" απο οποιοδηποτε σημειο του χαρτη. Εχει προστεθει μενου αναζητησης, υπαρχει δυνατοτητα αναζητησης στα δεδομενα του χρηστη κατι πολυ χρησιμο σε περιπτωση που υπαρχει μεγαλος αριθμος αποθηκευμενων δεδομενων.

Το συγκεκριμενο θεμα της αναζητησης αποτελει ακομα "εργασια σε εξελιξη" αφου δεν εχει ακομα ολοκληρωθει & σε αυτο το σημειο ο Falagar που ειναι υπευθυνος για την εξελιξη του BaseCamp αναφερει οτι το feedback απο τους χρηστες μπορει να αποδειχθει πολυ χρησιμο.

Custom POIs

Το Basecamp εχει πλεον την δυνατοτητα προβολης & αναζητησης προσαρμοσμενων σημειων ενδιαφεροντος (Custom POIs)

Report Map Errors

Ο χρηστης εχει την δυνατοτητα να κανει απ' ευθειας στην Garmin αναφορα με τυχον σφαλματα που εντοπιζει στον χαρτη.

Εχουμε καινουργια beta εκδοση, εχει ενημερωθει σχετικα το πρωτο post. Οι beta με τις final μπορουν να συνυπαρχουν στο PC πρεπει ομως να κανουμε backup τα αρχεια μας για να μην εχουμε τυχον απωλειες.
