Notes:

This release is intended to support Connect IQ developers to begin creating apps, widgets, and data fields for Edge using the new features introduced in Connect IQ 2.1.
New feature: CIQ Apps. This release adds the ability run Connect IQ 2.1 apps. CIQ apps are found under Menu -> Connect IQ.
New feature: CIQ Widgets. This release adds the ability run Connect IQ 2.1 widgets which allow for convenient access to information any time. They are accessible from the Status Page.

Added support for Connect IQ 2.1.

Changes made from version 6.00 to 6.03:

Fixed an issue causing an extra Activity Profile to be created when syncing Power Zone settings from WKO4.
Added the ability to set a Ride Type for each activity. This setting will appear in each ride's Activity Type in Garmin Connect. You can set default Ride Types for each activity profile or manually override this with another type when saving an activity. The device will also automatically set the Ride Type to be saved as Indoors when the GPS is off (you can also manually override this on the save/discard page).
Added support for the following data fields on the Varia Vision: Gear Battery, Gear Combo, Time in Power Zone 8, and Time in Power Zone 9.

Installation Instructions

Plug your Edge 520 device into USB.
Download and unzip the Edge520_624Beta.zip and place the GUPDATE.gcd file in the \Garmin folder of your device's internal storage drive.
Eject device from USB and wait for the update to finish.
If you would like to revert to the latest public release software:
Plug your Edge 520 device into USB.
Place the GUPDATE-620.gcd file in the \Garmin folder of your device's internal storage drive and rename it to GUPDATE.gcd.
Eject device from USB and wait for the update to finish. NOTE: If you revert to the latest public release software, all of your settings will be reset to defaults. Your user data (history, courses, etc.) will be retained.
